Church friend

A church friend helps newcomers to experience church when they don't have the energy to try out a new place on their own. A church friend walks with that person or family in the first experience of the church by being a safe anchor point in the new world. The connection comes from meeting people where they are. In project church friend, that place is the Family Network. Here you connect and form friendships. Our experience is that people easily find each other. The family network meets on Wednesdays in odd-numbered weeks for the whole family and on Wednesdays in even-numbered weeks in the Kvindecaféen.
We hope you would like to join us!

Your task as a church friend
Step 1: Participate twice in Family Network or Women's café
– You participate twice in the Family Network or the Women's Café and connect with people.
– Many families participate in the Family Network, so it is busy. The advantage is that you can connect with the whole family – kids, mom and dad.
–At Women's café, only women meet and that creates space for close connections in quiet surroundings.
Step 2: Sit together during the service twice
– When there is a connection, you agree to meet on 2 Sundays, where you meet them at the door and spend the service together. This means that you sit together and possibly eat together afterwards, if you have agreed to that or feel like it.
– If it fits, you can offer intercession, talk about the experience afterwards or whatever may be needed.
