The children's church Mango
Church for all children aged 3 years to grade 3
The children's church Mango is a great place to be, where we have a good time together exactly as we are. Here the children give it their all every Sunday morning with music, competitions and great stories from the Bible.
To make the teaching more age-relevant, we divide the children into 2 groups:
- Preschool group: From 3 years accompanied by an adult
- School group: Grades 0-3
We meet every Sunday during the service. We start upstairs for worship together with the adults. Then we go downstairs and split up. The Preschool group is for children from 3 years old and all children must have a safe and familiar adult with them. The School group is for children in grades 0-3. At about 12:00 the children are ready for pickup or coming back upstairs.
We want to convey Christian values in a lively, fun and exciting way to give the children a personal faith in God. At the same time, we ensure that there is room for questions and reflection. We create the community between the children together in fun surroundings, where they have the opportunity for lots of different activities. Among other things, we have a creative workshop where they can develop their creative talents in a fun way.

Support Tweens with a CBU membership
Citykirken's children's and youth activities are financed by Citykirkens Børne- og Ungdomsforening (CBU or Citykirken's Children and Youth Association). Membership of CBU is not required to participate in the church's activities, but if you or your child sign up, it means that our resources for activities will be even greater. It costs only DKK 75 per year, and each membership makes a big difference!

Wish to make a difference in the children's church Mango?
Why?
If you love hanging out with children, come and join our team. We are a great team and enjoy ourselves together as employees.
What?
It depends on what you are good at, what you want to do and what needs doing. It's everything from play to teaching and from juice making to planning.
How?
We need everyone. Some with musical talents, some who want to make juice, some who are creative, some who like to teach and some who are just good at playing and having fun with children. We need you, whether you are young, adult, old or just a childish soul and whether you are male or female.
If you would like to help, you will be added to one of our teams and the steady roll. That wat you will know when your teams is up.
When?
The team of the day meets in the church at 9.00 on the Sunday in question. We then plan the day's program and get everything ready for the children's arrival. We finish approx. 12.30 after cleaning up.
In addition, we have about 4 planning meetings a year for different things. Additionally, we arrange some social events where we enjoy ourselves as a group.
Where?
It takes place in the church's basement, unless otherwise stated, e.g. in connection with social events.
