Bold faith!
Where does bold faith come from? I believe that it comes from attentive communion with Jesus. Why? Well, because that's happened to Peter and John. "Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13).

You and I are not supposed to try to become copies of either Peter or John. For humans, a copy is always a bad copy. We are made to be original! So stay original. But we can learn from each other without copying each other. Peter's and John's boldness came from being with Jesus. The week of prayer is a wonderful opportunity to be together, to be aware of Jesus and to be in prayer to Him - together. Let us pray for bold faith!

Many of us don't find it so easy to speak boldly about faith. For others it is easy. Just be honest about how you feel about talking about faith. And please seek help and inspiration. You can find good help in the videos at www.ladostaleomtro.dk. They are made to help you and me talk about faith with others. It is a large and amazing national project that the Evangelical Alliance is involved in, and for which we are collecting an offering during the week of prayer 2025. Read more at the back of the booklet, and be inspired to talk about faith.

In 2025, I want to practice starting conversations about faith in a completely calm and undramatic way - and try to use the videos.

Happy prayer week - and happy boldness - also to talk about faith.
